WorkSafe Saskatchewan’s response to COVID-19

WorkSafe Saskatchewan is balancing the health and safety of our staff and our customers during the outbreak of COVID-19. Because of this, we have switched to an online instructor-led format in virtual classrooms. The Level 1 Occupational Health Committee (OHC) course is currently available in this online format and the Supervision and Safety course will be launched in October. See instructor-led courses for more information.

We encourage anyone wishing to take the Level 2 Occupational Health Committee course to register for and take both the Workplace Incident Investigation course and the Workplace Inspection Training course. Together, these two courses are the online equivalent of the Level 2 Occupational Health Committee course. They are offered by our partner, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety. See online training for more information.

At this time, we are not offering in-person training. Effective Measurement for Safety, Effective Return to Work and Computer Workstation Assessment Training (CWAT) are temporarily unavailable.

Online training continues to be free for Saskatchewan workers and employers. If you have questions about how to access our training, please visit the contact us to send us an email.

The first step in preventing incidents is understanding how they can happen. Find information in this section that will help you and your staff to always have a safe workplace. There are a number of training options available.
