How Mission: Zero fits into WorkSafe’s new strategic framework of safety, health and well-being

WorkSafe Saskatchewan has moved to a new strategic framework focused on safety, health and well-being. The refreshed framework reflects a broader approach to workplace safety, including physical safety, psychological health and safety, prevention, recovery and shared responsibility in workplaces.

Mission: Zero played an important role in building a strong safety culture across Saskatchewan since it was launched in May 2008. WorkSafe’s goal of preventing all workplace injuries and fatalities has not changed. However, WorkSafe is no longer promoting Mission: Zero in new materials.

Partners and employers do not need to remove existing Mission: Zero logos, decals, posters or other materials.

As you update or replace your materials, we encourage you to use the new WorkSafe logo and messaging. This helps keep workplace safety information clear, consistent and aligned with the current brand.

For new materials, please use approved WorkSafe Saskatchewan logo files and follow the WorkSafe brand guidelines provided upon request from the WCB. The guidelines include direction on logo use, clear space, minimum size, colour options, promotional items and partnership use.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the WCB at askwcb@wcbsask.com.
