Enhancing workplace resiliency

Stress is a normal part of our work and personal lives. When demands on us exceed our personal resources, we become more susceptible to the negative impact of stress, which can severely inhibit our performance and quality of life.

Designed by Dr. Joti Samra, a registered psychologist, and Dr. Rakesh Jetly, enhancing workplace resiliency helps students learn effective coping mechanisms and strategies so they can lead more productive, healthier and well-balanced lives.

Chapters in this course include:

  • building mental resilience
  • realistic thinking
  • behavioural action
  • the usual suspects: sleep, exercise and diet
  • relaxation and stress management
  • positive psychology

Enhancing workplace resiliency was developed by the University of Fredericton and is delivered in partnership with WorkSafe Saskatchewan.
