2019 Youth Video Contest
Focus on Safety
Teachers, have your students create a two-minute video to demonstrate workplace safety, health and injury prevention in an engaging way and be entered to win prizes for the team/school!
Every year, approximately 4,000 Saskatchewan workers between the ages of 14 and 25 are injured on the job. Three young workers die annually in a workplace incident. With your help, we can reduce these statistics to zero so that youth don’t get hurt at work.
The top three videos selected will receive a cash prize for the student team and school.
Team / School | First | Second | Third |
$1,000 / $1,500 | $750 / $1,000 | $500 / $750 |
Additionally, WorkSafe will award one school with a pizza party and swag for the whole class! See contest rules and regulations posted below for more information.
Deadline for submissions is 4:00 p.m. on March 28, 2019. WorkSafe Saskatchewan will announce the top three winners in April 2019.
The first place video video will be submitted by WorkSafe to the National Youth Video Contest hosted by CCOHS. For more information about the national contest visit https://www.ccohs.ca/youngworkers/video_contest.html
The 2019 WorkSafe Saskatchewan Youth Video Contest is offered with support from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).
