2017 Saskatchewan Construction Safety Summit

For Saskatchewan’s construction sector, safety is no longer just a social obligation — it’s a business priority. In 2015 alone, construction firms registered 836 lost-time injuries — roughly 10 per cent of the total province-wide. Safe workplaces are productive workplaces. They’re profitable workplaces. And they are workplaces of choice for skilled employees.
Join the Saskatchewan Construction Association (SCA), Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA), and Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB), in conjunction with partners from across industry, for an important conversation on the future of construction safety in our province. This session — to be held during the first-ever Saskatchewan Construction Week (April 3 – 7) — will bring together senior industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to explore best practices, and to begin development on a shared roadmap for transitioning Saskatchewan construction companies into the safest in Canada.
