Description: This course covers the health and safety responsibilities of managers or supervisors under the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). WHMIS, which was amended in 2022, is a comprehensive Canadian hazard communication system that provides health and safety information on hazardous products in Canadian workplaces. You will learn the components of WHIMS, your legal responsibilities as an employer, how to locate and interpret hazard information and information in safety data sheets and the requirements of a WHMIS training program.
