WorkSafe Saskatchewan regularly funds projects to research preventing or reducing the risk of occupational illnesses and disabilities. Many of these projects are jointly funded with other workers’ compensation boards in Canada.

The Institute for Work and Health (IWH) has an online reference database that includes more than 500 journal articles, reports, books and book chapters written by IWH scientists.



WorkSafe BC has funded or co-funded more than 160 research projects, which are available for viewing from their website.



The Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) is a community of industry leaders and academic experts who collaborate to create and share new safety knowledge



The National Safety Council uses research and data to drive better, smarter, more personal safety programs. From perception surveys and assessments to tracking the trends, they use their insights to create experiential education, training and tools to mitigate risk.



The Psychological Trauma and Stress Systems (PTSS) Lab is dedicated to advancing psychological health research, support and solutions for trauma-exposed professionals, including first responders and other public safety personnel, healthcare workers, military members and veterans.
