Violence in the workplace: Awareness

Description: This awareness course examines workplace violence, behaviours associated with workplace violence, sources of violent behaviour in the workplace and workplace violence prevention legislation. It is a forerunner to Violence in the Workplace: Recognize the Risk and Take Action, and Violence in the Workplace: Establish a Prevention Program. Participants will learn about the common impact of workplace violence, the importance of the issue and the legal obligations of employers to protect workers.
