Description: Respiratory protection is available as a standalone program or as part of the career safety education series. Exposures to respiratory hazards can cause chronic and acute lung diseases, allergic reactions, irritations, cancers and systemic poisonings of the major organs in the body. This course helps workers understand the anatomy of the respiratory system, respiratory hazards that exist in the workplace, the effects they can have on our health and how to protect against respiratory hazards.
