Duration: Eight hours
Description: This course is for occupational health committee co-chairpersons and occupational health and safety representatives. Participants will learn to undertake and assess occupational health committee workplace inspections, identify and recommend corrective actions that address deficiencies found during occupational health committee workplace inspections, fulfill regulatory requirements, collect and analyze evidence, identify and assess root causes of workplace incidents and dangerous occurrences and identify and recommend corrective actions to prevent workplace incidents. This is a required course for occupational health committee co-chairs and occupational health and safety representatives. The pre-requisite for attending this course is the Occupational Health Committee level 1 course.
