Description: This introductory course is for occupational health committee members and occupational health and safety representatives. These participants learn about the role of the occupational health committee within the occupational health and safety workplace responsibility system, how to address occupational health and safety issues in their workplace, the requirements for establishing and operating an effective occupational health committee, how to assess and control workplace hazards and how to handle occupational health and safety concerns and investigate refusals to work.
