WCB-certified instructor program
To become a WCB-certified instructor, applicants must meet the pre-requisites and requirements of one of the four pathways on the application form.
Only completed applications with supporting documentation will be considered.
The deadline to submit a complete application with supporting documentation is March 31 of each year.
Certified instructor training courses for occupational health committee training level 1 and 2, and supervision and safety training, will be held in annually in July and August in Regina and Saskatoon. Successful applicants will be advised by April 30 of the course dates. If you are unable to attend, your application will be held for one year.
Day one of the certified instructor training course covers how to teach the course. On day two of the course, participants are required to deliver a portion of the course to the rest of the learning group.
Within six months following the successful completion of a certified instructor training course, participants must make arrangements to deliver the course at their workplace with a WCB instructor observing.
Those with successful observations will be certified to deliver that course independently as a WCB-certified instructor.
