Enhancing Workplace Resiliency
Modern-day society is such that, for most of us, stress is a daily part of our work and personal lives. When demands on us exceed our personal resources, we become more susceptible to the negative impacts of stress, and it can severely inhibit performance and quality of life.
Designed by Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych. and Dr. Rakesh Jetly, the Enhancing Workplace Resiliency program will help students to learn effective coping mechanisms and strategies that lead to more productive, healthier, and well-balanced lives, at work and at home.
This course walks through chapters such as:
- Building Mental Resilience
- Realistic Thinking
- Behavioral Action
- The Usual Suspects: Sleep, Exercise, and Diet
- Relaxation & Stress Management
- Positive Psychology
Enhancing Workplace Resiliency was developed by the University of Fredericton and is delivered in partnership with WorkSafe Saskatchewan.
