Information about Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations is at your fingertips now more than ever.
The Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) has recently developed and launched a new app that highlights the main OHS legislation as it relates to the construction sector. Covering 20 different parts of OHS legislation, the app uses plain, easy-to-understand language to help ensure that employees and coworkers can no longer say, “I didn’t know” about onsite safety.
Links to the legislation and other resources and training are also included in the app. The OHS regulations and Saskatchewan Employment Act are more than 500 pages in length.
The app was developed in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and has a web-based and mobile version. The web-based version is available at ohsguide.scsaonline.ca. To download the app from the Apple or Google Play stores, search “SCSA.”
